Matthew 17:20, my favorite verse. "... If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."

Diamond Press Publishing

Jennette, at Diamond Press helps authors and publishers prepare files for publication with Createspace or Lightning Source. Services she provides includes, book formatting in Word 2003, converting images to meet industry standards, and creating the press quality PDF files required for publication by both LSI and Createspace. For more information, please visit her website at : http://www.diamondpresspublishing.com/publisherservices/index.html

I used Jennette's serivces for formatting my book for CreateSpace. She did a great job with the interior and the cover. Plus, she's a joy to work with. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here as she'll be checking in to leave answers.

  1. I'd love to know if there's an advantage of LS over CS or the other way around? Since LS has Ingram as a distributor, are more books likely to be sold through them? I feel comfortable preparing files for CS, but can make little sense from Lightning Source's website. I'd probably have to have help to go through them, but want to know if it's worth the extra expense? Thanks for any answer you can give.

    God bless!

  2. Mildred,

The main difference between LSI and CS is that with LSI you can choose your discount to retailers--as low as 20% of the retail price. With CS's expanded distribution plan, you must give 60% of the retail price to retailers. Going with LSI means you can charge a lower price for your book (if you want), and more money for each book goes in your pocket, rather than the retailer's.

    Hope this helps! :)

  3. Thanks for the information.
